i read the term cpd in the nursing care plan for one patient than i saw the staff nurse drowing fluids from the pt. cathetert .

What is cpd test ?

i have never heard that info before(not toching the sides of ampule) , i think there is no problemms with that , but yes you should not touch the plunger because you will contaminate the med.

in the hospital that i study in , we have PRN medications that means we give that medication when the patent ask or when required, if my patient complains of pain and i decided to give him pethedin as doctor ordered in the PRN medication sheet , when i can give the pethidine tablet again?
