  1. Hehe.. I made it too!! This really helped ease a few troubles in my life. It was soo much more than an exam to me.. Grats to everyone as well!!!!!
  2. Once again your dedication to help and shed light on things continues to amaze me suzzane4. I wonder where you get your strength... I talked to my boyfriend and he said he has a relative in Seattle Washington. Her aunt used to run a retirement home there and has a good lawyer if Im not mistaken. I tried finding the website for Washington BON but i get errors. I was wondering if they require a ssn. Also need to find out if its 'ces' they need. I will do my research on this when i get through their site tho. Again thanks suzzane4... you made me believe in humanity again...
  3. Thank you for the replies. Suzanne4, seeing that you seem to be the most helpful and experienced person in here, what state do you suggest I apply for initial licensing? I havent really found an employer/agency yet, I just want to take the NCLEX and get it over with. This question goes to others who have good inputs as well.
  4. Tnx so much john83! That really helped. I guess we'll marry after I pass the NCLEX hopefully. Expenses for his side shouldnt be too much of a problem. Last thing to clarify is, since I will have taken the exam before I get married, wont I have to make adjustments to my license/credentials since I will be using his family name after?
  5. Hello.. my boyfriend and I have been together for some time already. I am planning on working in the US and dont have any relatives there. My boyriend and I are planning to get married so I can hopefully bring him with me. 1. Should we get married before I start processing papers? (so that my family name will be in order already) 2. Is it possible to hold it off till after I finish taking the NCLEX exam and pass it hopefully. (best option since were not "ready" yet) If we get married, I believe that the employer would try to get visas for both of us. Am i correct in assuming this? Point is really, I just dont want to be alone when I go there and I dont have anyone to accompany me besides him. Lastly, someone told me that theres this law where you have to work for 2yrs locally(Philippines) before you can even start to apply for work outside. I dont believe this tho.. Tnx for taking the time.. God Bless
  6. Thank you so much
  7. First of all, Id like to say hello to all of you. I am new here and its good to see all the help and information being shared around. I have just finished school and am planning on getting my license in New York seeing that most people here think its the "best" way. What kind evaluation service do i need from CGFNS? CES? or CVS-NY? I would also like a few pointers on how to go about getting my ATT for NCLEX and then to getting an employer eventually(hopefully). I have read quite a few posts in here and it helped, I just want to make sure I havent missed important things that have not that been really discussed.
