The Oakland campus has access to all the school extras like the counseling center, health center, and book store. The SF and San Mateo campuses are satellite campuses and you have to travel to Oakland to take advantage of those things. However, there are messenger services that can send your books over to a satellite campus. There is also cheaper rent in East Bay and the program has been around much longer. The newer campuses still have some kinks they're working out. I chose San Francisco because the hospitals are the best. There aren't really any bad clinical choices and you get to go to UCSF, CPMC, SF General, Kaiser SF, etc. I wouldn't it trade for Oakland.
