My daughter is seen in DE and the GI nurse practitioner uses the sticks on my daughter's g-tube site for granulation tissue.

My daughter(age 13yo) has a feeding tube and the GI will use it (stick)around the tube site when she gets granulation tissue building up. She hates it. She is pretty good with pain, but, she will scream when they do it and is not happy for about 6 hours afterward. I am only in school, so have no other experience with it.
  6. There is a section that will allow you to take some practice questions and then evaluate your answers. On the LHS, scroll down to Nurse Entrance Test and click. Then it will list a bunch of areas on the test (our college did not requirre that we take the written expression part of the test-only the Math and Reading Comprehension) The "Main Idea" choice is a good one for the Reading Comprehension Section (although it lacks the Inference Questions that are actually on the NET)and I bought the "Study Guide for the NET" by Educational Resources, Inc that helped with the Math Section (was almost identical to the test questions, just different #'s, but, same format and degree of difficulty)

The authors are Michael D. Frost, PhD and Mitchell D. Jarvis, BSCS, BSM. The actual name of the book is Study Guide for The NET, The HOBET and The HELP Entrance Tests. I bought it at the college book store and I have also seen it on ebay. I have been told that most book store carry it as well. Hope you find it!

Thanks, I will let you know how I do. I am signed up for early August. I am comfortable with the math, but not the reading. I have heard that the test is harder for reading than in the study guide, although the math seems to be just like the samples in the guide. I will try the test from the site you included and thanks again!

Does anyone know of any on line prep tests for the NET or a good site to order them or test guides? I have purchased the NET study guide from the college book store, but, was looking to take some more practice tests because it has been sooo many years since I have been in college. Thanks!!
