  1. Wow! Lots of Grey's Anatomy lovers here. I'm addicted to it right now. Love some of the eps where the nurses are portrayed positively (eg. when Izzie had to open a patient's chest and one of the nurses guided her what to do). But yeah, interns (and even attendings) here often do the work of nurses. I also love House, mostly because of Dr. Gregory House's character and his relationship with Dr. Wilson. Not to mention those very interesting cases solved with House's Sherlock Holmes-like skill. I still watch ER but not as rabidly as before. ER is a sentimental favorite for me coz even now I still remember the first scene where Dr. Greene was awaken by Haleh (or was it Chuny?). Anybody remember Chicago Hope? I loved that show. I kept trying to find DVDs or even downloadable eps but I can't find one.
  2. I applied for the Vermont exam but I took the exam in Pasadena, CA, last June 24.
  3. I just passed last week and I agree with a lot of people here. Read and understand lots and lots of questions. I finished both the Saunders' and Mosby's CD and Saunders' Q&A reviewer too. Reading and understanding the concepts and principles is what helped me a lot. Memorizing is not the way to go in NCLEX exams, memorizing laboratory values, yes, but not the answers to particular questions. I encountered lots of prioritization questions (esp. triage and discharging) that may look all correct at first glance but once I analyze them, I realize that one or two really stands out. So it's just a matter of taking the time to study the questions and recall what you have been reading for the past few months. Good luck to everybody who will take the exam.
