Aloha! I am now here in the beautiful islands , I was not able to reply back since I was in Manila that time and stuck in the typhoon. I just arrived yesterday and when I read the good news I was so estatic! I WAS SOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! At least this have been cleared out and I have told my cousin about it and she decided to take the NCLEX in Hawaii as her reason she wanted to go to the islands with her mom before she has to work in New York, so it means she has to only ask for reciprocity if she passed right? Good Day Ms. Suzzane! I just want to address an inquiry about the choice of venue for the Exams on NCLEX. My cousin would like to know if she can take her NCLEX exams in Hawaii or Guam since she has a visa to go there, though she will be working in New York. Would it be possible Ms Suzzane? hi Len_nurse, actually your not alone, we came from another forum with similar topic regarding lack of documents during the interview,you can find it if you browse over the list of topics in the Philippine Nursing Forum.But last night when i saw this part I can not help but drop a message and let you know you still have someone with you. Actually me and Paraw are also waiting for our Visa, it has been a month now and still no news but I am hopeful we will have it soon. As for my case I was asked to submit Pre and Post NCLEX Salary and have complied it in a short time with my employer supporting me all the way. But still no news after that. Hoping you also visit the other forum where I and SHy_Rn were, you will surely meet Paraw too. Wishing you all the BEST and may we have are Visa soon. bake_pie

I did not know there is another forum here about the VISA but anyway I also have not receive mine too , it has been a month now and really like you I am so much worried. I am very much happy for Shy_Rn and knowing she will be leaving soon. Anyway Len_Nurse, please keep in touch! Hope we will have our visa soon too.

hi Gshe, We don't have our visa but we are celebrating Shy_Rn's Victory for she have waited more than 2 months and only now she received it. I for one have my Visa Screen Certificate and also Job letter but still I did not received my VISA

hi paraw thank you for your reply...as for me same here ebay_sumi and me are really worried already and really its like were in checkmate. I hope and pray we have some good news soon. its so hard emotionally because I really have tried my best and really same with my employer. I hope they would hear our plea, and have our visa soon.

Good day Fello Nurses*** Its the first week of September and still I am hoping and patiently wiating for my VISA..I am so happy that eventhough this ordeal I am experiencing my dear one ebay_sumi is always very supportive. I really owe alot to him, from the very start he never given up and still hopes for the BEST that soon enough will be at each others arms. I know even he would not show it, the time I had my interview it was his birthday, and true enough he remained strong for me but deep inside I know he is sad about it...I hope some of us here have already received their VISA...Take care all of you! hope to hear from you! much hope bake_pie

Good Day Nurses* Thank you so much for your reply and really it makes me feel there is hope still. As for my replies to some of your questions. I have called their Immigrant Visa Service Center or whatever they call it, I was informed that my application is still on process. But never did I try to Email nor Fax the Consul General.Then to my reply "PARAW" concerning about the white letter that seem like a checklist. It was not stated there "WAIT TILL YOU HEAR FROM US", I was only told to submit my follow up documents in WINDOWS 17-20, and pay DELBROS for the courier fee. Actually I am always in LIMBO thinking on what is happening to my papers at the US Embassy in Manila. It is quite a struggle considering you cannot help but CRY. I only try to rationalize it considering the fact that there were news of Filipino Nurses who were not treated well according to their stated contract, maybe that would be one of the reason why they have to scrutinized everything...But then the impact that have brought to some aspiring nurses like me who wants to start a future in the US, came in like a shattered window....and now another news related to the Licensure exams, my o my....what will happen next.... I just want to end my message with HOPE and praying that whoever is reviewing our papers would have the heart and the kind consideration as well as to hear our cries...that we Nurses who have worked hard and sacrifice alot taking and passing the exams and even to the extent draining the family's funds deserves a VISA... bake_pie
