Losing sleep over lack of job offers, is anyone else experiencing anything like this?
Hello, Im a recent graduate lpn and I just got hired to start Monday at a nursing home; this will be my first nursing job and I am terribly scared cause the ratio is like 30 patients per nurse. I just hope that I dont get bullied around since I will be the rookie and Im only 21. Oh my Im so afraid of the idea of having to pass out meds to 30 patients....and 30 assessments...and nurses notes...and some may be more critical...oh my...some one please talk to me. amy

Problem encountered last June 11-12 board exam..
wow im really sorry to hear that
- What would you do?

What would you do?
wow that is very disrespectful...I think you need to bring it up to your charge nurse..things like that shouldn't just stay between you and the patient; he may try to change the story around if things get nastier and you try to do something about them then.

ER nursing sounds exciting but way too challenging for me to want to do any time soon...that is if I become a nurse. I took my nclex yesterday and I think I blew it -= (

Breastfeed or else
I'm new here and I have no clue as to how I can see if anyone responds to what Im saying but I guess that I can eventually learn. My goodness I really wish I could've come across this website a bit sooner. Every one here appears to be so close knit - its really nice cause it makes me feel comfortable. Anyway...I'm a graduate lpn nurse and I took my nclex test yesterday but I just feel like I completely blew it because I was soooo nervous. I got home and I started looking up some questions which I was unsure of and realized I had put down the incorrect answers. Im really feeling down in the pitts of depression. My goodness....anyone ever felt this way and realized that they answered some questions wrong but still ended up passing the exam? I would really appreciate it if someone would PLEASE answer back. Thanks..

Is there ANY hope for me???
I feel terrible...and someone please help me. I just took the nclex pn today and the comp shut off at 85 questions - that can either be that i did really good or really bad. well it turns out that i just realized that i answered soooooooo many questions incorrectly. Does anyone know people who only answered the minimun amount of questions and did fail cause my teacher said that although nlcex claims that, shes never seen a student who only answered 85 questions fail. someone please tell me and be honest. thanks
