  1. I actually have tried to get an assignment in atl twice without success so I have given up looking and am going to AZ instead..lol. I heard from someone who has worked at several hospitals in ATL and she said she would rather work at Grady than Northside and said it wasn't a good place to work. I guess it depends on the individuals experience.
  2. I ended up interviewing for the position and being offered it but there was confusion between the nurse manager and the human resources. Apparently the nurse manager wasn't made aware that the position was no longer available. I was told by my company that the hospital wanted to hire permanent staff but he was unaware of that. I ended up taking an assignment in Athens,GA. So far so good.
  3. Anyone ever worked at this hospital? I will probably be receiving a phone call for an interview from them either today or tomorrow and it woudl be great if I knew more about them or the hospitals in Atlanta in general. Anyone done an assignment in Atlanta? Did you love it? Hate it?
  4. My recruiter encourages me to be agressive as well but she's not pushy about it. Most of the time, the hospitals are "do not calls" anyways, which makes things easier for me because I do feel kinda weird chasing people for an interview. Good Luck.

I know a couple travelers in their 50s. I think it's an ingenius idea actually. I may do it one day if i ever decide to get a permanent job.
  6. I was going to say it wasn't too bad but I actually have never applied with endorsement..lol. I usually alot at least 2 months for licensing, though, regardless of the state. Good luck. Mass rocks. That's my home state.
