  1. Congrats! I also was on my third time... And I did it... Through God all things are possible. I walked out of the test thinking wow I so bombed that test It shut off at 100 and I swear half of my questions were SATA... When I did the pearson vue trick.. I got the good pop up.. I thought this cant be real so I went to my board of nursing web site and checked to see if my results were in... it said PASS.. I could not believe it.. I must have reread it 50 times... it's suck a load off... I'm on cloud nine... doing the happy dance... good luck to all who will be taking this grueling test... congrats to us all for succeeding... Life is Good!!
  2. I totally agree, i am in this class also and having a very difficult time. It's not like me to flunk a test so i have been very nervous. I will look around the internet and if I find any good info I will pass it along to you. Good Luck! We have to remember to stay possitive, we can do it, it's just going to be a little harder for us, but that's ok :)
  3. Does anyone have any good sites to go to for studying for this class. I have flunked the first two tests, I am just not getting it. It's very hard to be flunking:bluecry1: when I am on my last semester and have been carrying a 3.68 GPA. What could be the problem? So any advise would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Hi everyone, Just wanted to come and say hi, I just got my first LPN job last week. I was going to wait and then I decided that the experience would be good to have. I graduated in May 2008 and passed boards in aug. then I also started college for the RN degree in Aug also. I have my own beauty salon business that I want to keep open so I do that part time, so needless to say I am a busy girl. It's nice to know that if I have any problems or questions I will have some where to come for advice, so far my first two days of orientation have not been bad, very friendly and caring atmosphere, the workers are willing to answer questions and team work is superior there. I really think i am going to like the work, i am so glad i decided to go on and become a nurse it will be a rewarding job. Good luck to everyone here! nursingiscool
  5. CONGRATULATIONS!! Have fun at disneyworld you've earned it, don't I know! Just passes myself.
  6. What i have read is that it starts with the easy questions and every time you answer it correctly it goes to a harder one. I'm not so sure about catagories, but the least amount of questions that you get is 85 and the most you can get is 205 that is for the NCLEX PN exam. If it shuts off at 85 it can either mean you failed or passed. when you get more than 85 questions it is still trying to figure out if you are going to be a safe nurse. I hope this helps you with your questions. This has been what I have read anyway. After taking the test is all i know is it's a different kind of test and you have to know the core content of nursing ( the basics) to be able to analize each question to be able to answer them. Good Luck!
  7. Hi just letting everyone know I passed !! It shut off at 85 questions. I freaked out, I thought for sure I had fluncked. It was aweful, not to scare you people that have not taken the test but it was very nerve racking for me, but I guess it all worked out. The freakiest feeling is when the screen goes black...WOW! I still can't believe i passed. I am finally an LPN. I start classes next week for the RN program I am really looking forward to generals again it will be a nice break from all the nursing stuff. I have my own beauty salon so I am thinking of doing hair part time and maybe later when i get into school for a bit i may do weekends doing nursing. So good luck to all you people taking your tests and congrats to all you that have passed NCLEX it is a grat accomplishment that you have all made i guess i can include myself in that. Yay Yay!!! I am on cloud nine right now!! :monkeydance: God Bless
