I am on the process of applying and I would like to ask if is it more advisable to apply personally to a hospital or to just wait for a call (application was submitted on-line)...just weighing things so i hope you'll be a hand...Some called but they belong to a recruiting company/agency and I am somehow having a second thought on them....Thanks:idea:

I am also a nurse from the Philippines and I just arrived here in the US last April...Yes, you have to take the NCLEX-RN before you can become an RN here...you may go to the website to search for the board of nursing you wish to be licensed with...by the way, are you a CGFNS passer? 'coz some states do not recognized non-CGFNS nurses others do..like California God bless!!!

Hello! i am just new here in virginia(norfolk) and I am currently seeking for a job...I posted my resume in the internet and some people (nurse recruiter) called me but what I was hoping for is that a call from the hospitals which I applied for in the internet...Is it more advisable to apply personally or to just wait for them (hospital) to give me a call? .... thanks a lot!!!
