  1. I would say Epidural, related to the tissue rankings of blood flow... [Highest --> lowest: IV, Tracheal, IC, Caudal, Paracerv, Epid, BP, SAB/Sciatic/Fem, SQ] I'm using Valley as a study aid... I'm not expecting that questions on the exam are going to be straight from Valley/Memory Master/NARC 4 U/whatever review course you have taken. I am more so using it to understand broad concepts. If I don't, obviously I go to another source. Class2011, I will let you know what I felt best prepared me after the fact! Keeping in mind that everyone studies different and different tools help different people!
  2. Wow, that is great advice. Thank you both! When did you all graduate and take boards? As always, if anyone else out there has anything to add please contribute! I'm all ears :)
  3. Thanks for that advice! I haven't started the Core Concepts yet... I am waiting to get the big haul of studying under my belt so that it's more of a "fair" test... I tend to have a really good memory, so I'm afraid I'll remember answers early on without actually understanding them. Did you feel well prepared from Valley's Sweatbook/Memory Master?
  4. Any graduates take Boards recently? I am just starting the big time study haul... Took Valley and am using Core Concepts exams/Prodigy. I am also reading M&M... any thoughts? Thanks for all your help!
  5. i took the nclex on thursday 6/01/2006 and pearson vue posted my results exactly 48 hours after i finished. i passed with 75 questions. i was convinced i had failed... but that is nclex for ya... putting you in those "higher level" questions that you read and think "what....??" i did the hurst review (live) and loved it. it breaks down nursing school for you and teaches you how to really understand and analyze what the "nclex people" (as marlene hurst calls them) are thinking. i also did practice computer questions with the nclex 3500 cd (i generated simulation tests) and did some paper mock nclexs from davis' nclex book (copywrite 2001) and read over my hurst review packet. the hurst review packet helps you to really master the core content needed to stay away from those "easy" knowledge questions... most importantly... be positive!! i know i wasn't; bawled my eyes out, convinced i failed, couldn't sleep/eat... but we have been studying for this for 2 years through nursing school!!! we are going to be brand new nurses and the nclex people know that, so they don't expect us to know everything... it's hard for me to say this knowing how much of a blind panic i was in the past two days!!! anymore questions just let me know!!! best of luck to all you nclex takers out there! you will do fabulous! prayers are with you!!!
