Thanks for all the replies. I checked again with ccconline and the course does not cost as much as I thought. I am in the process of getting registered now. I hope I can endure the class. I have never taken an accelerated Science class on-line. Wish me luck!!

I have found a few on-line Microbiology courses offered in the western states during the Summer session. The tuition for a 4 hour course was $1500 + book and lab kit. I live in North Carolina and would like to stay away from the high tuition costs offered out of state. Are there any Microbiology courses with lab offered on-line in North Carolina or anywhere else for a lower rate?

I am an Industrial Engineer returning to college to pursue a degree in Nursing. I would like more flexibility and job security. I have had trouble finding good jobs during the past 4 years with my engineering degree.
