  2. thank for the advice. i will appreciate if u email me the notes when u get a chance. i will begin in august in the evening. i have mixed feeling about the program u just hear so much different stuff about it is hard. i am going to go in there with open mind and be prepared to study and do what ever it takes to past because i have came to far to failed now. thanks again about the info and sending the information

  4. yes the day & evening will be at orientation.
  5. it is 10.00 per shot since u only need one shot it will cost only 10.00. try the health unit in jefferson parish or locate the one in marrero.
  6. i did applied for the liability insurance i went online at www.nso.com and applied it cost 29.00. i just got the papers in the mail stating i was accepted. also i may cld children hospital to schedule cpr class. do u know u can go to health unit to get the 3 hep shot and pd only 10.00. i went to the health unit in bossier city, and received the first two shots. u may want to check it out because those shots are expensive. yes, i am going to student to student orientation i think it is mandatory.
  7. i have to get my physical done, third hepatitis shot, buy two books, stethoscope, and cpr class. i want to the specific times because i would like to know if i can work while going to school so that my job can work around my schedule. for as the insurance i am trying to get on my husband insurance if i cannot still work. have u take the cpr classes? if so where did u go? also are u getting those recommend books? i am kind of nervous and excited about school. i am nervous that i may not catch on as fast in clinicals. i had spoken with my counselor and i was telling him how some people have experience in nursing but i have none at all.
  8. That would be nice to start a study group. i am in sections 371 & 378. I chose to do my clinicals at touro hospital. There is only one thing i am not sure of what times does class start. also have u begin reading the chapters. i proably won't begin until july.

  13. if we will have to take some clinicals in the morning and classes. i hope they let us know and not at the last minute.
  14. i am clueless about when clinicals will start and i am clueless about who is going to be the pharmacology teacher and what time does that start.
  15. does anyone know where to get stethscope for cheaper i went to elgee uniform and they want 49.00 for it.
