  1. Hey Yall :) For the last year i've been working as a nursing assistant in PACU. I was just wondering what nursing assistants in yall's PACUs do? Thanks :)
  2. Grey's Anatomy! That show is so addictive..I never miss an episode! The only thing that sucks is they are moving it to 9pm on Thurs. and I'll have to start recording it because i'll be working!
  3. Woo hoo for the CNA'S! I'm so glad there is finally a board for us! I have been a CNA since January. I am working in PACU and taking pre reqs for nursing school. Any other CNA's working in peri-op?
  4. I am 17 years old and just graduated high school in June. I am working as a nursing assistant and KNOW I want to be a nurse. I am taking a few pre-reqs online this summer at Pitt Community College. I will be a full-time student there this fall but I am having doubts about going to nursing school there. I know their program is great, but I really think I might want my 4 year degree so I don't have to be a floor nurse forever. I am very interested in going into the nurse anethesist program at ECU one day. Can someone give me some advice! Thanks :)
  5. I just graduated from high school and I am really confused about when to apply for the nursing program. Also, do different school's base admission into their nursing programs on different requirements? Somebody please explain this to me.
