  1. Thanks cynr131. Well, that's about the norm for me in Cali on a Med-Surg/Onc floor. That's really good to know. I was afraid I might have 7-8 patients.Thank you again for replying.
  2. Hi, I'm thinking about moving back to Houston & would like to know the number of patients MED-SURG RN's are assigned. The amount on a day shift & night shift in an acute hospital. Are there CNA/PCA's?Is there a secretary/clerk to take orders off? Does the charge RN take a full load of patients, a couple of pt's, or none? If there is anyone that work at the following hospitals to answer these questions that would be great. LBJ & Ben Taub Methodist(Willowbrook) North Cypress Medical Ctr Memorial-Hermann(Woodlands & Katy) Texas Children's(Medical Ctr) St. Luke's(Woodlands) Thanks in advance.
