  1. I am just newly registered for San Bernardino Valley College. I already have a BA from 1997 (not in this field) and am having a hard time getting a hold of a counselor but perhaps you all can answer this simple question. A couple of prereq's I dont have that are required are Microbiology and Anatomy. Does anyone know how recent I would have to take these courses prior to entering the nursing program? These are different I suppose because they are science based as opposed to me having already completed speech class let's say, back 10 years ago. If someone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
  2. Forgive me because I am new to all this and just starting but do you mean you do the nursing program on the weekends forgoings classes during the week? I am still doing my prerequisites so I cannot even apply yet anyway but this is what I would like too, providing this is what you mean. Do any other CC's in the Mt Sac areas do this to or maybe will in the future? Thanks in advance!
  3. thanks Lizz, I may just do that!
  4. I live in Southern California and am jsut starting to get my feet wet with entering a RN program at a community college. The nearest one to me will work fine but my understanding is waiting to get classes can take awhile. Is this the same generally at all of the colleges? I am willing to drive further if I can get into classes sooner. Thanks!
  5. okay thanks for your reponses, appreciate it!
