Just curious, were most of you guys apprehensive when you decided to go for nursing, or were you guys 100% confident in your decision? For either question, please give a reason why as to why you were or not anxious. thank you.

just curious, are there any nurses out there that used to be an engineer? or were pursuing engineering before switching to nursing? or planning to pursue engineering in the future?

well, let's see,..before i start, this might turn out long just to warn you,..so you are advised to move on to more less time-consuming threads. =] i am a first year student in a community college, and have been taking pre-major classes for biomedica...

lol...i was fearing that...in fact, i was contemplating putting "afraid of blood" instead of hemophobia...because i felt it's prolly gonna get misread..and apparently, it did. at any rate, i guess maybe t's good i put hemophobia. catches people's ey...

and i always thought that you have to be able to stomach all forms of wounds, blood, and needles before you even think of going into nursing.

that is exactly what i am trying to avoid most: the cost of time. which i guess i'll be forced to pay if nothing else works out.....

i know i cant provide much help..im not even a nurse.. but just wanted to share something... ..my best friend had a liver transplant when she was small..... the prospect of her not getting a liver transplant is something i am always thankful never ha...

wow,..that's, erm,..nice....i can never see myself and my best friend sticking needles on each other....that scene is actually a little amusing

see, i would get loans IF i could get loans..but i can't because of legal reasons...i'm not illegal; i've been here in the US for 6 years and my papers are still in process..[.i fear it's gonna take longer to process since post-9/11 government aren't...
