  1. You are in my prayers. Shake the heaven by your prayers and expect something great to happen. God bless.
  2. Thank you all. For those who pass, CONGRATULATIONS! And for those who did not make it, I want to share to you these words of wisdom. 8 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT FAILURE: 1. To fail is not the same as being a failure. 2. To fail is not the disgrace everyone thinks it is. 3. Failure is only a temporary setback. 4. Nothing worthwhile is ever achieved without running the risk of failure. 5. Failure is a natural preparation for SUCCESS. 6. Every failing brings with it the possiblities of something greater. 7. What you do with failure in your life is up to you. Failure is either a blessing or a curse, depending upon the individual's reaction or response to it. 8. Failings are opportunities to learn how to do things better the next time- to learn where the pitfalls are and how to avoid them. LADDER OF SUCCESS: 1. Plan purposefully.:yeahthat: 2. Prepare PRAYERFULLY. 3. Proceed positively. 4. Pursue persistently. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY. God bless us all.
  3. Just arrived from the interview for RN position and was told the results are out in the mailbox:bugeyes:. I got the big envelope almost folded to fit in our small mail box. I prayed that God will prepare me for whatever result I will received, whether pass or fail:saint:. As my husband opened the envelope for me, I felt my heart and lung functions accelerated, my pupil dilated and blood rushing to the very core of my body. , I have never felt this way before. All the tensions built up from waiting for this result was released when my husband unveiled with pride...you PASS!!! GOD is so GOOD!!!
  4. Congratulations, Allek! I'm from BC and I haven't received my envelope yet.
  5. Hi, soundbite21! Glad to see you back in the thread. I've been following your posts and about your spilled experience on how you go about your application to CRNBC:paw:. Thanks for the knowlege shared. I know somebody, actually a neighbor of mine, that entered the IEN program of VCH and now working full time at St. Paul Hospital. I live in Surrey near the border of Langley so I limit my prospect of work to the south side of Greater Vancouver. I had an interview with Surrey Memorial and was emailed about their interest of hiring me. You know, I am wondering if we can meet and talk and be more acquianted with each other as we have almost the same beginnings, same country of origin and almost the same age:typing. I worked in Texas as an RN and moved to BC for some personal reasons. I am every inch a woman with 2 kids and 1 husband:wink2:. I am connected with Jesus is Lord, Fleetwood and I am the only RN they know that chose BC over Texas. God be with you always.
  6. Thanks everyone for all your inspiring words of wisdom. God be with you all as you continue to serve our ailing community of unstable and hurting people. It't great to be in this profession. God bless us all.
  7. Hullo, everyone:nuke:! I am new in Canadian nursing, in my early 40's and in the field of med-surg:nurse:. I am just curious in your area of specialty and your reason for choosing it. Med surg is a very busy area and the learning is unlimited. It has exposed me to many different cases and developed my critical thinking skills. I like it so far!
  8. Warm greetings! I would like to join the band of nurses with post CRNE traumatic stress syndrome. My nursing experience in the US, CRNE prepaparation for 2 months and Medical- Surgical nursing stock knowledge from NCLEX review did a little work when I wrote the CRNE on Oct. 8:bugeyes:. For all of us who gave the best for the exam, for all of us who ask, seek and knock, may the door of heaven be opened to us and receive the answers to all our prayers from our amazing GOD who delivers the goods that we fervently asked in prayers. God bless us all.
