  6. I am currently in Gen education classes in a Hospital based nursing program and they have a section of the nursing program where you can test out and become an LPN. I have thought about doing that and continuing to finish my RN. Do you think its a good idea. From reading some of the LPN books the mode of thinking isn't the same as an RN. I don't want to mess up my thought patterns. The purpose for me doing it is to make money on the weekends while in school. What does everyone think:monkeydance:
  7. Charlotte Male here in charlotte, NC attending CCHS awaiting on the admissions folks into nursing school. take care
  8. congrats matsgrl. I have a quiz on thursday in lecture and a quiz on friday in lab. I think I am ready for but I will see. I will give an update monday. Coonkine that is a funny way to grade but I guess all teachers are the same good luck on on future test
  9. I am also taking A&P I. It feels good to be in school but I forgot what it was like to be the only male in the class. I forgot about the shortage of men in nursing. Its cool though
  10. Hello I recently signed on because I am contemplating nursing school again and I have decided to start in the pre-nursing area and advance as I advance in school. The quick history. Started nursing school...quit...finished with a exercise physiology degree.....got a masters...working now thinking about nursing school again. WHAT A CIRCLE. One thing I do know in my 31 years of life is I do feel I am making a difference when I am helping people who truly needs help. Enough of the history. So far I would like to thank the room for such great mind teasers. Thats how I use to study and it really helps. Sometimes the simplest thing win out. I am rambling on, but I am trying to CLEP out(just take the test without the class) of anatomy I & II to advance in the nursing program here at the hospital and I would like to thank everyone for the great resources and teasers. I will back soon to update everyone. Bye for now.
