  1. you need to tell your patients about the medicine especially if you know about their religion and what is prohibited.......as a nurse we are the patients advocate and remember verbal consent, patients right, .....its the patients body and the patient if a muslim or a jew knows best if they should take it or not for a lot of people religion is a big part of their life. when i go to discharge a patient i always try to educate them about medication because if they know about the medication just briefly they know how important it is to take
  2. hey u no kidding you are heading into a war zone but its all positive i'm in my second semester even though i dread going back tommarrow i wanna do better nursing school is going to help you realize how much you are capable of and u are going to learn LOTS LOTS OF WAY TO DISIPLINE YOURSELF U WILL HAVE TO DISIPLINE YOURSELF FOR STUDY TIME, LETS PUT IT THIS WAY U WILL ENJOY SCHOOL BUT HATE THE PAPERWORK I ABSOULTLY LOVE THEORY AND CLINICALS BUT WHEN IT COMES TO DIAGNOSIS, PROCEDURE, SURGICAL, AND MED CARDS THEY ARE INTRESTING BUT VERY TIME CONSUMING THEN YOU HAVE TO MAKE A CAREPLAN WHICH I DON'T KNOW MAYBE YOUR SCHOOL WILL HAVE YOU DO CONCEPT MAPING OR NOT BUT ITS A PAIN. BUT KEEP IN MIND YOU WILL MAKE IT IF U WANNA BE A NURSE
