The pt was confused, however the charge nurse saw us walk in and out at the same time. It's clear I was there the whole time. And pp, I agree, I wonder if I did something to tick the CNA off and this was her way of revenge. I dunno. It seems pretty cut and dry to me, to the point I'm just really rattled by all of this investigation and stuff, over what seems to me to be cut and dry.

I wasn't told much about it actually. Just that she was telling everyone she did the whole treatment by herself, and told a night shift cna that she was told she could take the rest of the shampoo home and treat herself *there was nothing left*. But my supervisor said the CNO was involved and she had to do all of this. I left a statement yesterday and then my supervisor called me today and said she wanted me to repeat the story to our HR person. Also in the cna's defense they kept saying she told the same story twice. I'm like ***? So if i tell the same lie 2 times that makes it true. She also tells me today, just tell the truth, i freaking did that. I dunno I'm very frustrated. as far as admin, I've never even been written up in the 2.5 years I've been there, let alone cross paths with anyone in admin.

I was called in yesterday and informed a cna told the administration that i made her to a lice treatment alone. She was terminated. So now I'm on suspension pending investigation over this. Of course it's not true, I was in the room with her and applied the medication she helped massage it in and rinsed it out and changed the linen and apprently took the shampoo home. I had no idea of the latter. I never left the room, we left together after it was done. She told admin she did the treatment and I told her to take what was left home. This was also a single app bottle and nothing was left. I'm sick to my stomach over this, I'm heartbroken someone would lie blatantly about something like this, and terrified I'm going to be fired. I've never been in any kind of trouble before so this is really nerve wracking. Anyone with some advice, or what to expect from this? I have a meeting with HR in the am.
  4. Just curious and hoping anyone can answer. Are they really picky about transfer credits? I know some schools are just silly about what they take and what they don't. How about them?
  5. I'm curious about this myself. I'm in Louisiana presently and at an hourly of $18.50. Curious to see if it's more, we're relocating to phoenix this summer.
  6. I feel your pain, I am getting tired of the run around myself. It also is making me consider a career change. It's becoming a circus, and the patients will pay in the long run. It's sad.
