Hello! I just graduated from Phoenix College's nursing program and I think it was very thorough. I was in the excellerated program, and the days changed throughout the blocks. I worked parttime the whole time, but its difficult to find enough time for study and a life too. Block 1 we had lecture on mondays/tuesdays 4:00-9:00 and clinicals wednesdays/thursdays 1:00-9:00. Block 2 lecture changed to monday/tuesday 12:00-7:00 and clinincals on saturday 6:30-6:30. Block 3 and Block 4 lectures were wednesdays 12:00-7:00 and clinincals on saturdays 6:30-6:30. They have a good pass rate on their NCLEX too, I think its like 98%. Overall, I think the teachers were very knowledgable, just the schedule is a little crazy.

Yes, well I hope our time comes soon! I can only work as a nurse extern for so long, until they find out I have my RN liscence! it would be humuliating to be working at McDonalds with an RN...

Yes, there are very few jobs for new grads right now. I am in the Phoenix area, just graduated, working as an extern at VA and now there are no jobs for us!!
