  1. So my friend said that she calls in prescriptions all the time because she does not have a script pad. I work for a wellness center where we do not prescribe medication and I am just wondering if it is okay to call in scripts as a liscensed ARNP. I know we can write/prescribe scripts but since I do not do so at my job I am just wondering the details behind it. I currently have a ARNP# and NPI# are there anymore numbers I need? In the state of Fl we do not write narcotics so I am assuming I dont need a DEA#. Any advice would be beneficial as I just received my liscense and dont want to loose it before my career takes off. Thanks!
  2. I graduated in 2009 with a FNP degree. I am currently working for a wellness center where we do not prescribe medication. Am I still able to prescribe as an liscensed ARNP? My friend said that she does by calling it in because she does not have a script pad. I currently also have an NPI number. Are there any other "numbers" I need in the state of Florida? Does anyone know if we are in the state of Florida if we need a DEA number since we are not prescribing medication? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Lori
  3. I am looking at applying for the reciprocity certification and I am just wondering what it consists of. Do we have to test with them or do we just fill out the application and pay the fee? Does it matter if you have tested with them and not passed? Any advise helps because I really dont want to retest again. I am currently certified with the AANP with FNP and would like to be certified with the ancc. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.
