  1. Hang in there!! Just a few weeks ago, in my last semester and last test before the final, I BOMBED an exam I studied my tail off for!! 68%! I had never failed a test up to that point!! I ended up missing only 10 on the final!! Dont let one grade get ya down....I know it is HARD.....but have faith in yourself, get help in the next few days like getting a study group together...you'll do great!! I know our class average on that test was barley passing....part of the problem was our teacher was a wack-job, but after I got past that I failed....I was even more determined to do well on the final and I did!
  2. That sounds like some good advice!! I couldnt remember them either and had to write and rewrite! I would also make up a sheet that had the names, then copy them (xerox) and use them as work sheets to fill in the blanks for peaks/duration, etc. I would also do it backwards too....write out the times, copy that, and fill in which ones they were! Good luck!! Im sure you'll do great!! Oh, I forgot to ask...where in MI do you live if ya dont mind me asking?? I use to live 2 hrs north of Detroit!
  3. Im in the same boat!! I graduate May 3rd and people are running around with their ICU, CVICU, and ER jobs!! Even though I have experience as an EMT and work as an aide in the ER, I wonder if I should go this route or do Med Sug a while!!?? Also, I am doing my mentorship in the PACU and may want to wait to see how I like that! Where do you go to school?? Do you have a mentorship period? Mine is the last 5 weeks of school...are you kind of numb knowing you'll be done soon?? I AM!! Good luck!! All I can say is reasearch and talk to other RNS's...I find out a lot that way!
