studying for CNRN exam this fall...
I passed!!!! I encourage all neuroscience nurses, whether you have two years or twenty years of experience, whether you are a rehab, floor, ICU, NP or somewhere in between, challenge yourself and take it! If I can do it, anyone can.

studying for CNRN exam this fall...
I am going to take the CNRN exam in April and am studying like crazy. I see all these previous posts here. Can anyone send me the breakdown of the test, any tips and/or practice tests? I would be forever grateful and would really appreciate it. Thanks so much fellow neuroscience nurses!

Columbia University's School of Nursing
Hey Columbia NP students/alumni, Can anyone tell me about the Acute Care NP program or the FNP program at Columbia? How difficult is it to get in? I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a 2.97 gpa (attributing that to my really bad bout of mono one year), average GRE's, have great rec's from professors and nurse managers and have about 2 years experience as an RN currently working on a Neurosurgical Unit at Mount Sinai. I was accepted to Penn on a scholarship, received an award for nursing research at graduation and am now serving on Mount Sinai's nursing research committee. Input please! :mortarboard:

Neurosurgical Floor or Epilepsy?
Hey everyone, So I'm a relatively new nurse (worked for 2 years on an inpatient peds rehab unit) and i'm trying to decide which of these units to work at. I am looking for more experience, to learn a new area and possibly try to figure out what area I want to study for graduate school. Can anyone give their input? Thanks!

Pediatric ED
I'm a relatively new nurse (worked as an RN for 1.5 years on a peds inpatient rehab unit) and am now switching to work in a pediatric ED because I want to expand my nursing skills and gain some great experience. Can any of you Peds ED nurses offer some advice on how best to prepare myself to start and how best to get the most out of my orientation experience? Are there any books that you would recommend me reading to help get me prepared?
