    I loved the Tom Ahrens book. I found the Dennison book to be outlined in a way the Ahrens book wasnt. The CD in the back of the Dennison book is quite helpful though.

    EvinsAngel, I know for certain that Presbyterian Hospital, in the Novant Health system, hires LPNs on the floor with a large scope of practice. I cannot speak to the other hospital system in Charlotte, Carolinas Healthcare. Good Luck!

    Welcome to CLT. This is a beautiful place to live with a lot of diversity in as far as areas to live in. In response to your Presbyterian Hospital question....I just recently started working there and find that it is absolutely delightful. I have had experience with Carolinas Healthcare System and Novant and have found so far that Novant is superior. If you have any specific questions regarding the hospital, I would be happy to try to answer them. Again welcome.
