I did get called in front of the nurse examiners for insubordination...When they heard my story, and it was proven, I won, and am not the one to get in trouble. fight for yourself. Not your job. Because it is noo fun to go to court. and that is where you are headed, and the R.N. will NOT be on yur side.

plano area pays about 19 to 21 hour for LTC

here in texas the money for LVN is in LTC. Hospitals pay 6 to 8 dollars an hour less. Going rate here for first hire is around 19 to 20 dollars hour. So that is why i like LTC.

I dont know what I would do. Probably somekind of public relations that doesnt have anything to do with medical. I am burned out of co workers turning others in for mistakes that even the person turning other nurses in is found to do. Im so burned out on peer pressure. Not really nursing itself. Just the co workers and administration.

It is against HIPPA. The family member can surely sue that nurse. And easily win if they have it on tape.
