Johns Hopkins University Direct Entry MSN - Fall 2026
Thank you so much for all of this — it's incredibly helpful, especially the interview prep breakdown and the essay advice about honing in on what specifically pulled you toward nursing rather than trying to cover everything. One more question if you don't mind — do you happen to know exactly how JHU calculates the Science GPA? Specifically if the prerequisites you take are considered science GPA. Or do they factor in every science class you have taken in undergrad

Johns Hopkins University Direct Entry MSN - Fall 2026
Thank you so much for sharing all of that, and congrats again! That's really helpful context. A bit about me: I'm finishing up my Psych degree this Summer with a strong upward GPA trend 3.2 cgpa and 3.8 prerequisite , plus I've got solid clinical/admin experience in behavioral health. I'd love to pick your brain on a few things if you don't mind: 1. For the Kira interview, what kinds of questions came up, and how much prep time do you get per question? Any tips for the format? 2. For your personal essay, what angle did you focus on, and did you lean more into your clinical experience or your academic journey? 3. For letters of rec, who did you end up asking, and what do you think made them strong?

Johns Hopkins University Direct Entry MSN - Spring 2027 Applicants/Current JHU students
Hey everyone! Starting this thread for anyone applying to Johns Hopkins Entry-Level MSN for Spring 2027 since I haven't seen one yet. A little about me — I have a 3.28 GPA finishing my B.S. in Psychology, several years of clinical administrative experience in behavioral health and internal medicine, and a clear focus on psychiatric mental health nursing, and currently in the process of getting my certified med tech to get some more clinical experience added to my resume. Submitting my application in August to take advantage of rolling admissions. Would love to hear from others: When are you planning to submit? Has anyone heard anything about this cycle's timeline for decisions? Any insight on what the committee weighs most heavily — GPA, experience, essay? Anyone been waitlisted or accepted with stats similar to mine? From what I've seen in older threads it seems like rolling means earlier submission = earlier decision, so I'm trying to get mine in ASAP after my final grades post August 8th. Drop your stats, timeline, and any advice below — good luck to everyone! 🤞🏾
