  1. I Am currently an lpn half way done with a RN-bsn program. I am currently wound certified and love working in wound care and with ostomy care. I want to continue on to get my NP and am considering continuing to my NP. I am debating between fnp and mental health/psych NP. As a psych NP I can still get the higher level wound/ostomy cert but am limited in my ability and scope to use it in practice from what I read. Reading your question it poses the question for me as to whether or not there is a great need for someone qualified to treat wounds in the psych setting.
