  1. It's been quiet on the creek in this forum LOL. Has anyone gotten off the waitlist yet ?
  2. Congrats so happy for you. I hope I am next. How long do they give you to accept the seat
  3. No I didn't ask. Years ago before 2022 students use to get a email with their ranking and they would be updated as they moved up the list. Wish they still had that but that is a lot of work to manage and to keep emailing everyone updates. I think the accepted students have two weeks to make a deposit. Hopefully we will see some movement by then.
  4. No I haven't gotten off I was just answering a question. I did get a response from the coordinator this morning that they have confirmed my waitlist spot. So that's telling me they are going through the emails. Hopefully we will hear something in the upcoming weeks. Keep your head up guys. Stay positive !
  5. I would take the extra classes. The one student escort I had said she took all the classes before the start of the program and it really helped lighten her load and she highly recommends it.
  6. Does anyone know if they let you know were you rank on the waitlist if you reach out to the school? Someone from a past cohort said they can let you know where you fall on the waitlist if you reach out to the coordinator. IDK if that is still accurate or not.
  7. I amWaitlisted too. Have hope guys everyone won't accept a seat especially with a class of 40. I am sure it will be significant movement. We are still in the game
  8. Congrats when do classes start? Were you the priority waitlist or in the march interview group?
  9. LOL you are right they did have a lot of hand writing to decipher. They put more work on themselves LOL. I am sure they are thinking why did we do a writing prompt for 60+ applicants LOL.
  10. You got this. You have a really good chance at this school the odds are in a lot of peoples favor which is normally not the case for CRNA school. Fingers crossed we are classmates. I am from Chicago so it's just 4 hours away from my current house.
  11. no more interviews lined up. I got waitlisted at my other interview a week before interviewing at SIUE because my cumulative was lower than they normally accepted I am a 3.6 and everyone they accepted what's a 3.7 or higher which is wild to me but well see what happens with SIUE. What about you ? I was looking up places out there they are kinda pricey in Edwardsville did anyone ask where do most of the students stay because it's nothing in Edwardsville for rent to be that high LOL.
  12. Thank you. LOL they should low key waitlist a lot of people If they have 40 seats and supposedly 68-70 interviewed they could waitlist 10-15 people or more. They need to make sure they have a full class and Edwardsville is not the most desirable area if other people get accepted to more desirable programs in better areas. Also they told us you will be traveling a ton for clinical. Many people are not going to want to travel even though it sounds nice in the beginning trying to get into a program.
  13. Yes the week before SIUE I interviewed with Missouri State. I got waitlisted unfortunately. They have a small waitlist of 8 people. What about you?
  14. Literally had the exact same experience! At one point, one of the students was looking at me like I had a giant booger hanging out of my nose LOL. I just smiled through the pain and kept going. Faculty ended up telling me I had the best, most thoughtful question all day, but my anxiety immediately made me wonder if they were just being nice. There were definitely a couple of subtle moments where they broke character though, which helped reassure me a bit. Such a total head game. Hoping for good news for both of us!
  15. That is good one also! It is so cool seeing everyone's perspective and that's why they were saying its many answers. Just like with anesthesia its multiple ways to give anesthesia which is why I am so fascinated with the profession. You guys did awesome in the sim! I checked the urine also and said we are going to place a foley and I will continue to monitor the u/o, map, pt orientation also.
