no more interviews lined up. I got waitlisted at my other interview a week before interviewing at SIUE because my cumulative was lower than they normally accepted I am a 3.6 and everyone they accepted what's a 3.7 or higher which is wild to me but well see what happens with SIUE. What about you ? I was looking up places out there they are kinda pricey in Edwardsville did anyone ask where do most of the students stay because it's nothing in Edwardsville for rent to be that high LOL.

Thank you. LOL they should low key waitlist a lot of people If they have 40 seats and supposedly 68-70 interviewed they could waitlist 10-15 people or more. They need to make sure they have a full class and Edwardsville is not the most desirable area if other people get accepted to more desirable programs in better areas. Also they told us you will be traveling a ton for clinical. Many people are not going to want to travel even though it sounds nice in the beginning trying to get into a program.

Yes the week before SIUE I interviewed with Missouri State. I got waitlisted unfortunately. They have a small waitlist of 8 people. What about you?

Literally had the exact same experience! At one point, one of the students was looking at me like I had a giant booger hanging out of my nose LOL. I just smiled through the pain and kept going. Faculty ended up telling me I had the best, most thoughtful question all day, but my anxiety immediately made me wonder if they were just being nice. There were definitely a couple of subtle moments where they broke character though, which helped reassure me a bit. Such a total head game. Hoping for good news for both of us!

That is good one also! It is so cool seeing everyone's perspective and that's why they were saying its many answers. Just like with anesthesia its multiple ways to give anesthesia which is why I am so fascinated with the profession. You guys did awesome in the sim! I checked the urine also and said we are going to place a foley and I will continue to monitor the u/o, map, pt orientation also.

I decided to hold the Ativan because she was getting really confused and it was worsening and I verbalized that out load. But hey as long as you had a rationale it's so many ways to approach it. Even if I felt like I didn't know I always thinking about safety and priority.

I am sure you did great sounds like you did fine to me. This was all purposeful and it is made to make us feel incompetent LOL. Sounds like you handled the situation well. There really is no right or wrong answer as long as your approach was safe.

The whole interview was a glitch LOL. If I get an acceptance I would be shocked LOL. It was so unconventional and nothing I have ever encountered before. I know MMI interviews are made to make you feel dumb with no feedback but we will see what happens. Even the student escorts I found that to be weird that they were sitting right behind us listening to our responses. Mine was saying I was doing good but I felt like I was reading off the paper and rambling while the interviewers were just in another world.

LOL I did a NRB to a Bipap the oxygenation did go up pressure was still low AF. I started a second pressor fluid bolus and everything didn't touch her. I wanted to start laughing when she was jumping out the bed. She was a good actress. I told you if you get tired of being a CRNA be an actress LOL. Low key SIUE was playing in our faces that day 🫢

I felt that the interview was rough it was so much going on in the interview. I was thinking it was going to be one question in the pod it was multiple questions and they were talking while I was reading one question which was kind of distracting.
