  1. A few people in my LACC cohort got accepted into LAVC... including you Danchi. LOL. Congrats to everyone!
  2. I responded to the email letting them know that I had taken the TEAS and that I had sent them from the official site, and "if possible, please kindly confirm receipt of my score." They responded that they had received them and that I would be put into the lottery.
  3. I also got the email and sent my TEAS. I am pretty sure I'm going to attend LACC though and it's mostly out of curiosity... But the cohort size is much smaller and the NCLEX pass rates are much higher at GCC. Only thing I do NOT like is the mandatory Summer session as it would be nice to take a break from school so I can just work, volunteer, and save some money for the upcoming semester. But the trade off is that the BSN bridge can be completed much quicker with GCC.
  4. For those who got waitlisted or accepted, could you please let me know how many points out of 70 yall had? Thank you!
  5. Update... I just talked to the director, and she told me that the lottery is complete. But she said due to bottlenecks, expect to hear back by the end of next week...
  6. Congrats. Anyone else? Are they done sending out acceptances/waitlists?
  7. I talked to [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] (nursing counselor for LACC) last week and he said that he's shooting for the next couple of weeks as far acceptance letters. Just FYI
  8. Wanted to start this thread regarding applications for the Fall 2026 semester at LAVC. Good luck to all those who applied. This is one of my top choices.
  9. Good luck! 92 is ridiculously amazing. I think you've got to be one of their top candidates. Good luck friend.
  10. So I ended up emailing them and they told me my application was incomplete due to the lack of receiving my UC Riverside transcripts. However, I had sent those transcripts in way earlier and had received confirmation by Parchment that GCC had already received them. So I asked Admissions and Records and they confirmed they had them on file. So I let the Nursing Dept. know and they said I'm all good now and will wait to receive them from Admissions/Records. Thank you to everyone who responded! Motivated me to make sure my app was all good!
  11. Thank you for reaching out! I was kinda worried if I might've messed up on my app or whatnot. That makes me feel a lot better.
  12. Does anyone know about when they would email us? Also, when I applied, they said they would follow up in 5-7 business days. Did anyone get a follow up email? I sure didn't
  13. Holy ***…. How the hell did you not get an invite?? That's absurdly high! Mind listing your stats so I could get a bit more insight? Did you apply anywhere else? I would try for PCC, as they are merit based and if you got that high on ELAC's app, I don't see how you wouldn't get accepted there.
  14. ***... I'm sitting at 80 because of my damn Chem grade... my kryptonite... I wonder what my chances are... only class of my prereqs I got a B in... wondering if it's worth applying. PCC seems incredibly competitive...
