That's so crappy I'm sorry.😞 But congrats on getting into Loma Linda regardless! 🎉 I have a feeling we'll hear back before your July 28 deadline, so hopefully you won't have to make that decision. If I were you, I'd wait until the last possible day, especially since Loma Linda is so expensive. That's what I'm going to have to do with the LVN program. I'll hold off until July 15 to purchase the ATI package and then just bite the bullet if we still don't hear back by then. I can't risk not starting nursing school this fall just to end up getting waitlisted or rejected by the RN program. 😕

I just called the nursing dept bc I have a July 15 deadline to purchase the non-refundable $1k ATI package for the PCC LVN program (my backup plan). They told me they've already sent out all RN program acceptance offers but haven't finished notifying alternates or rejections yet. I asked if I'd know my status by July 15, and she said most likely not. It's honestly really disheartening. I wish they were more considerate of applicants time..😞

Good to know! I'm wondering if the APU prerequisite recency requirement applies to PCC ADN students too. 🤔 A few of my pre-reqs are 6+ yrs old, and I know APU's regular application requires some pre-reqs to be completed within the last 5 yrs.
