Hi everyone! For those who currently at NYU, how has your experience been so far? I've spent the last year completing prerequisites specifically for this program, but I just got accepted into a different school and now I'm feeling conflicted. I'd love to hear any insights or pros/cons you have to help me decide. Thank you!

That's great to hear! Are the classes mostly online? I believe the first two semesters are only online? How was your experience with that? I know the NYU program is only a BSN but I also read on Reddit that the pay differential between BSN and an MSN isn't that big but I'm not really sure about that

Hi! I was wondering if anyone who has committed to Columbia and is currently taking classes there could share their experience. I was recently accepted into the Summer 2026 HMDE program and I'm still deciding whether to commit. I had planned to also apply to NYU accelerated 15 month program, but since I have to notify Columbia by March 9th, I'm reconsidering my plans. Is the HMDE program worth it? I'd really appreciate any insight or advice. Thank you!

Yeah I applied to HMDE and emailed them asking when I should hear back but they never got back to me. I read some older forum posts where someone didn't hear back (I don't remember which program they applied to) until late Feb so I have no idea... I don't think they know when they'll be done reviewing the applications

I thought I saw some people on this forum say they got decisions even though they didn't apply by the priority date? I only assumed they might release HMDE decisions after reviewing MDE applicants since I think HMDE students eventually join the MDE cohort after the first year? But I'm really not sure...

Same... my status has also been 'decided' since last Friday or whenever the first wave of acceptances came out. Let's not lose hope yet! I think they might be planning to tell us at the very end once they're done going through the MDE applicants at least that's what I'm hoping LOL...

PRlibre: It's so frustrating. I emailed them and they said they're releasing decisions on a rolling basis... I also read on reddit that they haven't released HMDE decisions yet. And sorry I don't know how to reply to your comment ?

Hii I applied to HMDE as well and my portal has said 'status decided' for over a week, but I haven't received any update. It seems misleading to release that status without notifying applicants within a reasonable timeframe...
