  1. Maybe of the graduating class of last year but I've met some people who graduated from Columbia's direct entry MDE program and didn't get employed at New York Presbyterian and instead ended up getting hired at other hospitals in the NY area. So 100% employed is kinda inaccurate, it's high but it's still not promised you'll get a job at NYP
  2. They told me the exact same thing now that you mention it. If they're not exactly sure, they need to be honest because I'm getting pissed off just thinking about this. Everything you stated is exactly everything they told me and if they told accepted students the opposite today I'm pissed
  3. I know you have nothing to do with this, but if they said they sent out their acceptances then I need them to send out their rejections so I know to not think I have a chance ?
  4. I'm assuming the same too, I haven't heard anyone else get accepted besides the first week. I emailed asked them for more information and they told me that hopefully they'll have more information by the end of the month. Today marks the end of the month officially so I'm anticipating to not hear from them for another month possibly with a rejection
  5. At this rate, they can keep them because they said acceptances would come out January and now they're saying March which in Columbia late language means they're gonna send out acceptances in April and I'm over it
  6. Exactly like my frustration is the fact that programs who start in September have gotten back to me already but Columbia is taking their sweet time. It's the last year for Grad Plus loans so I don't want to forfeit the chances of getting into a direct entry Masters program (I have other responsibilities in my life where it would be better to consider grad plus loans) and I feel like they're taking advantage of me just because of that and making me wait longer
  7. No I'm just messing around, that just sound like something they would do
  8. They're gonna milk the heck out of these "admission delays due to blizzard" when I should've gotten my decision MAD LONG AGO ?
  9. I'm definitely getting rejected. I still haven't heard anything ?
  10. Agreed as well, they sent out that general email initially saying it was taking them time to go through applications. But like my portal has said "awaiting decision" almost two months past the time they were said they were going to release initially (which was supposed to be January). At least some people see "decided" on their end I still see no changes whatsoever.
  11. Mine still says "Awaiting Decision" it's honestly ridiculous how long some of these masters programs make us wait for a decision
