  1. Oh, good luck! Since you're just getting an interview and its near the end of March, I'm starting to think we really won't hear back until the middle of April ?. Anyways, for float pool, they asked a mix of behavioral and clinical questions. I kind of forgot most of it, but I would suggest studying the most common nursing questions like "why this hospital,” "Name a time you made a mistake,” "Name a time you saw a change in a patient's condition, and what did you do about it.” You can look up a lot of these questions online, those are just a few. The questions won't be the exact same, but you should just have at least 5-10 ready for any type of scenario (It might be a lot, but thats how I prepared at least). Expect to improvise and tweak your stories to fit their questions. I think I had a leadership question, where they asked when and how I displayed leadership. For the clinical questions, I think its best to be prepared for the most common issues like MI, Stroke, respiratory failure, etc. I think I had a question about sepsis and they asked how I would recognize it and what steps I will take. Finally, practice in-front of a mirror LOL. A big part of the interview process is seeing your personality, so try not to be overly tense and nervous, which is easier said than done! Good luck, again!
  2. It was inpatient! I did not use any references for my application, I was surprised to receive a call for an interview because I applied in November and forgot about it. They told me the very latest could potentially be April 15 for the float pool, depending if they get more interviews...so maybe I guess its up in the air whether or not we get it sooner than that.
  3. Hello everyone, I'd like to open up this discussion and ask if anyone has any updates on when we would hear back for the may 2026 cohort? I did my interview with float pool this past Monday, and still awaiting potential skills survey. How many people instantly got the skills survey, and how many are still waiting? Do we know if we would get an official offer/rejection before April? Thanks, and good luck to everyone!
  4. Hello everyone! Just wanted to ask if anyone got any interview invites from Mercy Gen at all? From a post in an FB group, ED, PCU, Med Tele, Medical Acute Neuro, and PCU sent out invites, but not sure how credible it is! I am so antsy to know where they are in the process ?
  5. Hello, I got my 2nd interview invite today at around 6pm! Good luck to everyone who've applied!
