Not sure if it is a "have to" kind of ordeal. My thought was that they would contact you and invite you to the event? But I'm not sure, I've never been to a meet and greet for a position. Have you gotten anything from any of the facilities that you applied to?

Saw on Linkedin, per Dr. Leena Joseph, that facilities will contact us directly regarding next steps, including potential meet-and-greet events with the following dates for the events: - Methodist, Woodland, Mercy Folsom 1/20 - Mercy General 1/21 & 1/22 - Mercy San Juan 1/27 & 1/28 She said no invitations have been sent, that was last week on Thursday. Haven't gotten anything and my apps still say 'Under Review.' Fingers crossed.

Hey guys! Haven't seen anyone make a discussion yet for the residency application that opened for the Sacramento region by CS so I'll start one here! I was able to catch the small window when the app went live for like 5 hours (there's probably HECKA applicants). I ended up submitting for Mercy General, Folsom, San Juan, Methodist, and Woodland.

Same! My apps still say "Under Review" but I haven't gotten any invitations. I'm wondering how their process is structured— whether they're scheduling applicants in groups, or going down a ranked list, or what. At least we know that there is activity.

Nope. All three of my apps say "Under Review" still :/

Thanks for making the forum! I'm hoping I didn't forget anything when I clicked submit, the anxiety is real. They said that their pre-screening process takes two weeks before it reaches the hiring managers. Good luck!

Hey! I applied to the SICU, Med-Surg, and ER residency openings. Haven't heard anything besides my applications' statuses switching from "Application Received" to "Under Review." Hopefully their process isn't too strung out, we'll see.

Crazy that they pushed back the final ranking twice. I wonder if that has been the case for any past admission cycle? The anticipation is killing me ?. They drastically cut the applicants in the invite-round; at first I wondered if they just had an onslaught of more people applying but they only take about 30% of the pool so... maybe not?
