  1. I had NRP, PALS, ACLS, BLS of course, majority of my clinicals were at UCSD including L&D/NICU, and the student externship (outpatient unit though). 4/5 references were ucsd based, prior job was in gynecology & volunteered on a similar unit as well as volunteered at Moores cancer center years ago. So I wasn't necessarily internal, however I made sure my resume was very much UCSD focused. But tbh, my cover letter was very passionate & personal. I explained how deeply connected I am to this unit & I made sure even during the interview that this is my dream job!
  2. Aww im sorry, I hope you hear good news soon! ? They called me at 1pm
  3. Yes! I got the offer yesterday! How about you?
  4. I hope so too for you! I'm also very anxious. My status changed again, now to "interviewed. Pending decision" which I'm not sure if it's different than the last one I had. It sounds the exact same but what do I know LOL
  5. Is she from ucsd as well on the l&d unit or she's just from the reference site? I have another reference that just got back to me but I don't know if it's worth including at this point. I don't want to over do it since they only asked for 5 but now I'm second guessing if I should have another manager included since I only had 1. Ugh IDK anymore
  6. no ? its driving me insane, I just wanna know ugh. How about you, any status changes?
  7. I hope so too!! Are you waiting on all of them to submit? I would nudge them a little or maybe resend the link to them LOL. let them know its time-sensitive & ucsd won't move forward until all references are submitted (which is true). not sure if everyone knows this but I realized on the website it says that it'll generate a report basically off all references once they're all complete and thats what the hiring dept looks at!
  8. So on Monday, 4/5 of my references had submitted that same day. My 5th submitted Wednesday morning, and that afternoon my status changed on ucsd's site. I only put one manager which was my old boss, the rest were professors/preceptors! Has it changed today?
  9. Yes I completed it on Monday! But I realized my status changed only after my last reference submitted. Maybe check on your references on the website, and it'll say if they submitted yet or not. You can also resend the link to them.
  10. Oh I see what you mean. I got a call from L&D on Friday saying they're gonna send a reference check email on Monday. My status changed to pending interview decision today
  11. do you mean in terms of getting an interview or not? Not sure about NICU but L&D interviewed last week already, not sure if they still are. They're reference checking now. I'm not sure if that answers your question!
  12. for those who had an interview, did they call you personally after your interview to let you know about references?
  13. same! I've noticed the updates on the profile take awhile to update since im sure they do it manually but I still check every hour even though I know nothing will change LOL
  14. does anyone know when or how long it takes to receive an email for references?
  15. Has anyone gotten a call for perinatal yet? Like L&D?
