  1. Hybrid applicant (priority deadline) - still nothing. My portal has shown as "Decided" for months now. I've emailed and called multiple times. No responses.
  2. I was a priority applicant for the Hybrid MDE and I still do not have a decision. This is beyond frustrating and unfair.
  3. Could not find a thread - figured I would start one. Anyone attending? Would love to connect.
  4. I applied to the hybrid MDE program and mine says 'decided' but I do not yet have the decision ?
  5. This is incredibly frustrating. Do we remember how long it took for them to release the application forms? I expect better from Columbia. Leaving students hanging for this long is unacceptable and frustrating especially when some applicants have to move, find childcare, etc!
  6. I hope so too. I highly doubt it... releasing on a Monday?! When they've taken several weeks?
  7. Hahaha if I was admissions I'd want the priority decisions out today - so staff could rest over the weekend and review the remaining apps next week ... that's just me though. Not losing hope for a possibility of decisions today!
  8. NP! And just to be sure - I emailed the admissions email a copy too & also let them know that it's in your portal happy holidays!
  9. They told me to use the upload materials function!
  10. This is so so so insightful. Thank you. Do you mind elaborating on students who had a target on their back? What did they do?! That sounds awful... If admitted, I'll have had a background as an attorney and law school was also extremely tough and peers were not helpful - they'd try to sabotage you. There was a ton of cheating on exams, gate-keeping exam banks, gate-keeping supplements that could help study for exams, etc. You would walk into class friendly and think others want to be your friend as well, but they would turn their backs and take advantage of your kindness... Is nursing school the same? I don't want a repeat of law school - it's why I'm leaving the profession (no one actually cares about you & the profession itself is toxic!)
  11. What would you say contributed to the loss of those students? I've been told the programs are so difficult that along the way people will drop or take breaks. Do you have general advice on how to succeed & stay stress free? TYIA for contributing to this thread even as an alum!
  12. Girl... I emailed them 1 hour ago asking for a tighter range.
