I got in too!! I just really do not know what to do. Someone in the Reddit thread said this is the 3rd year on probation. Does anyone know or have access to speak to some current students so we can get some more inside intel?

Hi, so basically the program is on probation right now due to low NCLEX rates meaning there's a risk that they might lose their accreditation. A lot of current students have reported that the program is super unorganized and the professors do not care about the students and aren't helpful. A lot of current students have been urging new applicants to seek out a different program because of how drastically different the program is now compared to how it used to be. Broward was always one of the best and highest rated nursing schools and it has completely went downhill (according to current students).

I Think we're getting decisions this week but tbh with everything coming out about broward I don't even know if I would like to accept. It would be different for me if I saw there were mixed reviews but everything I see about the school and its current accreditation status as well as the actual functionality of the school has me very on edge. Is anyone else feeling this way?

Literally. I don't know why it's so quiet. I received an email June 25th saying my application was processed. It didn't have a decision, it only said that decisions would be emailed out 30-45 days (excluding weekends and holidays) after the close of the application which was May 22nd. So we might be waiting till the end of this month which is crazy. Broward finally admitted they were placed on probation for the decline in NCLEX passing rates and supposedly I heard North campus will not be accepting students. I was looking into more options just in case with MDC but found out they're also on probation. It's crazy right now.

Wow that sounds crazy. I am going to try for MDC also but the thing is it's kind of far from me and they're requiring an additional class before I can even apply. For Spring 2026 they did not accept students at all three campuses, so you know if all three campuses will be available this upcoming term? And also, would you say South or central is better? Thank you so much for responding!

Yes me and you had very similar stats but your GPA was a couple points higher than me so I literally missed it by a few points ? but it's all good the pool was super limited this time. Hopefully, it's better by the fall!

For everyone who said that their status changed to pre admission I'm pretty sure you guys have been accepted. Congratulations to you guys! I'm also sure you'll receive your email tonight maybe after 8ish because that's when we received our letters. If you guys don't mind, would you share your stats so those of us who didn't make it can more or less know where we may need to improve? Again, Congrats!!
