  1. Now that would be a truly holistic approach that's why when a school says yeah we do holistic, yeah OK sooooo why I still get rejected, then don't want to give you feedback besides the generic template of get more this get more that
  2. My flight was oddly expensive as well, have not heard of them doing any virtual interviews.
  3. What happened I thought there interview was more emotional intelligence? Did they switch up this year
  4. Welp just got my rejection, good luck to those who got an interview!
  5. Don't lose hope! Getting interviews and being waitlisted shows that you're a strong candidate. Sometimes it really does come down to timing, limited seats, and a little luck—keep the faith!
  6. Is this your third year applying here specifically, or your third application cycle in general?
  7. That's exactly what I was trying to say. It's always a waiting game with these schools, so don't take not hearing back right away as a bad sign.
  8. No, I didn't ask for feedback. I took being waitlisted as a sign that they liked us but had limited seats. With a larger cohort, we might have been accepted, but I think it ultimately came down to choosing among many qualified applicants, so I didn't feel the need to ask.
  9. I understand. I was just trying to reassure you that even if you don't hear back right away, there's still hope—they may decide to interview you later. Never lose hope just cause you have not heard back and others might have.
  10. Yes but even with rolling admissions they interview certain groups first and sometimes put other people in a later interview pile so I am just saying it can take months as the app is open until decemebr so you could get an interview after the fact its a waiitng game always with these schools I am just trying to help you guys mitigate unneccesary anxiety by telling you that it can be months before hearing back even with rolling admisisons
  11. Honestly, I think they're just genuinely warm, friendly, and humble people, and they probably treat everyone that way. With only 16–18 seats available, the competition is tough. I don't mean to sound discouraging, but I wouldn't take their friendliness as a sign that is why I would just suggest putting it on the back burner for now cause I also thought my interview went great and also got waitlisted so like I said if we do end up getting off it will be a nice surprise but I am forgetting about it for now cause the waitlist decision def knocked me down a bit since I thought it had gone so well.
  12. Every school is different you think this is bad Loma Linda charges 350 on top of the nursing cas fee some school do this to weed out people cause people don't want to pay and to show commitment
