  1. just call torrance memorial hospital a rep will answer the phone ask to be transfered to HR
  2. Hi I know my response is last minute but I had the same exact problem with accepting my offer letter! I ended up calling HR and spoke to my recruiter, who resended the email while we were speaking. Theres something wrong with jobvite on their end
  3. Congrats! what unit if u don't mind me asking?
  4. Did anyone else receive their official offer letters for PCU through JobVite I was wondering if the link is broken for anyone else; I'm unable to accept the position.
  5. I agree! Haha, I just want to make sure Torrance doesn't use a facility that requires an immediate drug test response within 48 hours. I would hate to be on vacation out of state and then suddenly get my job offer, only to have to take a drug test the next day!
  6. yes! nights Edit to add- I was called by my unit manager, and I haven't received my official offer yet. Which hopefully will come soon, as I really want to go on vacation, but I want to complete my background and fingerprinting first. ?
  7. Yes, I had an interview for PCU on Wednesday.
  8. Did you receive a formal offer letter or just a phone call?
  9. Hey! I wish I could be more helpful, as I had my second interview today for another unit, and the questions I had were personality-based and not nursing-related. The question I was asked were, "What do you think we think of you as a new grad?", "Tell me about a time you had a bad experience during clinical,""Where do you see your nursing career at Torrance Memorial in the future?" and "How have you handled the negative media on the news recently?" editing to add- my interview was very relaxed, and I tried to highlight my strong personality traits. I really did try to focus on my prior experience and highlight who I am as a person, explaining why I am a strong candidate due to my background in customer service.
  10. Hi everyone, I recently attended the interview event as well. I don't have any connections at Torrance Memorial, as I completed my nursing degree in another state. That evening, I received a phone call for an interview for a Progressive Care position, which was scheduled for today. During my interview, they informed me that they will continue interviewing until next week, so don't lose hope. It seems like they are interviewing candidates slowly, as there were over 400 people at the interview event. The only interview tip I have is to be yourself. If you have any prior customer service experience, be sure to highlight it! They are not looking for a perfect person, just someone who can handle a diverse group of people with varying moods. Best of luck!
  11. Hi, can someone remind me of the start date for Providence?
  12. We're expecting to get the list of names for offer next week. We'll reach out to you via email or SMS once we have the confirmation. For the meantime, please keep your lines open. - Response when I contacted HR on Friday, June 27, for San Pedro.
  13. Same! I wonder if it's due to the political climate we are in. I would have never thought USC would discontinue their new grad program for tele!
  14. Has anyone received an offer from the San Pedro location? I interviewed on Wednesday and so far silence....
