  1. I read in the Summer '26 Forum that they will likely get the final round of acceptances this Friday, which probably means that we probably won't be getting anything till next week. Last year people got acceptances in the first week of April, but the Deadline to apply was March 15th not March 30th like this year. I went back another year, Fall '24, and they got their acceptances starting the first week of May, but that year they extended the deadline to April 15th, and then again to May 15th. And then I went back one more year, and the deadline that year may have been April 1st, and the first notifications were received on April 12th. I guess generally there is a pattern of two weeks after deadline for the first notifications to come out, so next week is looking very likely....
  2. If it was PSYC 2317 or MATH 1342 then yes, It could also be a recognized equivalent that UH has, you should check the TCCN if UH has different course codes. AFAIK UThealth is pretty competitive, especially in the fall application cycle. But I have seen low >3.5 GPA get in with a decently high TEAS or HESI score. Also timing might matter as well, people who apply later in the window are more likely to not get a seat, despite having very good stats. They judge you based purely on your academic stats, so a big resume likely does not help... Edit: the stats for Science could also be accepted if it is and equivalent or HIGHER
  3. Honestly am not sure, historically though, I've always seen they are rolling, even though I am pretty sure they said in the information session that they no longer do rolling admission. I guess either we don't know what rolling is, or maybe they don't know.... Also, I just viewed the Summer 2026 thread, and their were acceptances in the thread as early as January 9... which was less than a week before the application deadline for Summer 2026 itself... If they do rolling we will likely find out in the next few weeks..
  4. I don't believe we can share any link other than a Facebook group on here so we might need to make a group some other way. I was wondering, when will we be the earliest we could hear back, I submitted my application Mid-January, and am hoping for an early decision so I won't need to apply to as many other programs...
  5. This is for Summer 2026? Wouldn't that mean they accepted you before the application deadline?
  6. Hello, If you don't mind sharing, what is your weekly schedule like, and what are the clinical requirements(How many times per week? How long each clincal is?) I am looking into applying for the Spring of 2026... But am hesitant as it is nearly 40-50 minute commute from my house, that would be fine if it is 2-3 days on campus, but if it is everyday, that would be quite difficult....

  8. You would have to check the personal email you provided them with on your application.
  9. They have sent out rejection notifications... I was unfortunately not accepted. Here were my stats if anyone is interested: TEAS: 90.7 Reading: 97% Math: 100% Science: 93% English Language: 64% (This section is not considered in the application) Both Cumulative and Science were: 4.0 GPA
  10. What if you have done a titer, or have gotten these vaccinations before(I.e. in childhood) I know Influenza gets released every year in August so I will have to wait for those, and I have done a series for COVID back in the Pandemic era. Do they require another series, or a specific company... Also at what point of the year will all of this be requested from you, After the program starts, or late Fall before the program begins. Thank You for the information, I will definitely make sure to enroll into the BLS course I was looking at a few days ago.....
  11. I don't believe it is necessary for the application, however it may probably be a requirement after you are accepted... I know that most Health Science programs require BLS certifications.
  12. Whats your schedule been like so far this semster, Also what were your stats for acceptance, and was this your first time applying, if not what was the reason they rejected you the first time?
  13. Have they given you a schedule for all 4 semesters, I am considering Cizik as an alternate Nursing program to do in the future, but wantd to know how rigorous/busy it will get, as I have heard they sometimes have school for all days of the week...
  14. Thank You for sharing... Very useful information
  15. Could you share your stats for acceptance, I am trying to gage whether I have a competitive enough application to apply for Spring 2026, Also could you specifically share how your clinical experience has been with the program so far...
  16. Hello, could you share your stats for acceptance, also did you have A&P II(2) doen before the application deadline? I plan on applying for this coming Spring semester, and am unsure whether I have the sufficient stats to get in...
  17. Hi, I will be applying for the Sugar Land Spring 2026 ADN Program from WCJC this coming Spring, and decided to make a discussion for it as there isn't one yet... Please feel free to put your queries, thoughts, and comments in this discussion so we all can benefit from them...
  18. I doubt many people went as far as to see an advisor and if they said all good then there probably is something they have missed... I literally just saw user "Riah" on this same thread who said they had a 3.2 GPA and had overall ~85 on the TEAS with a 94 on the Science Section... Very strange for you to be rejected based on their stats unless ultimately test scores had greater weight... Definitely call/email and ask on what criteria were you rejected.
  19. Definitely sufficient stats based on what I have seen in other application cycles...
  20. Very suprising, when did you submit your application if you don't mind me asking, and also, are you sure that you had all minimum 48 prerequisite credits and the required science courses before applying? I have seen in previous application cycles that even a missing Lab credit for one of the science courses could warrant rejection... Well I believe Spring 2026 application window is open, you should probably reapply after making sure all your credits will be completed in the Fall.
