  1. I am currently enrolled in the online PMHNP program. It is an extremely fast paced program. Each term is only 7 weeks long, so things move fast. All of the classes follow the same format. Discussions due on Thursdays, and exams and weekly assignments due on Sundays. Recently I had an incident where I genuinely forgot to complete my weekly exam and the instructor refused to allow me to take it, even though I messaged him less than 15 minutes after the test had closed. It's a catholic institution, but only in name, don't expect mercy or grace. LOL I am about half way through the program and the level of engagement and support I have experienced has been mixed. The above example is one of the more extreme examples, but in general my experience has been that you should expect a very low level of support from instructors, I believe the expectation is that this will be a self taught program. There are no online lectures or supplemental instruction. If you are someone who values engagement and support in your learning environment, this may not be a great fit.
