Is it defeating. I was expecting way more information than what we got yesterday. The best thing we can do is get everything ready our BLS certification, all our vaccinations ect. It's basically just a waiting game for all of us on the waitlist which sucks. When they said people have been accepted the Friday before classes started that shocked me because that gives not even the weekend to figure everything out. There was way less people than I expected. If there's 32 in each class 64 were accepted people then 46 were people from the waitlist. Not going to the meeting disqualifies people that got accepted and on the waitlist so I'm sure they'll be going through the waitlist here soon to call people and give offers. Hold on to hope but if not don't give up!

Do you know how far they go down on the alternate list? I'm #66 so I don't really have hope. It sucks but congratulations to you who did make it.

I just got an email saying I'm an alternate too :( super bummed. It sucks that this year was just based off of an essay. What number did you get on the alternative list?

If you don't mind me asking do you remember what the essay prompt or question was for last year?

I just received a email this afternoon stating we have to fill out the program agreement and get it turned in before Friday, we have a essay that we will get the prompt to via email on April 23rd, it's 2 pages and we have 30 mins to complete it. Then we have voluntary demographic questions the day after the essay. Is this what everyone else's say? I'm not sure if the essay is in person because it doesn't give a location to meet? It just says the prompt will be sent via email.
