  1. If anyone is looking to meet pre-requisite chemistry requirements, check out the University of the Incarnate Word. Their new program begins August 2026 and they are offering a 3 credit "Transitions" course that aims to meet chemistry requirements. It include some math, physics, and an intro to anesthesia pharmacology.
  2. Just heard the Program Director and another faculty member resigned.
  3. The old Barry Transitions course. It helped because it was geared toward anesthesia and pharmacology. It will be back next year, but at a different school.
  4. FYI - for anyone interested... I just spoke with one of the professors who taught ANE 695 Transitions course. The course is moving to a different university....
  5. I took the into to anesthesia course. It got me brushed up on my chem and pharm. Also had some of the same content that was in my program - so that made it easier when I was in the program. BUT I just heard the course is no longer being offered. The two professors left. So maybe look for another course.
  6. I took the ANE 695 course before I went to school. It was a good refresher for chem, math, and some of the coursework in the program. But I just heard the two professors left and that course is no longer. Shame - I thought the course was decent and I liked that it was self-paced.
