  1. I have a misdemeanor of theft... And I'm having a hard time getting a job in Wisconsin & Illinosis...are their any jobs that will hire with this type of background.... Does anyone know of any places that will & has anyone been threw this....
  2. I took kaplan also, i got a 55 on the first test and that measures at the mark that you probably would not pass nclex. Even though there are people who have passed it with low scores. I took my first nclex and did not study and failed, second test i took kaplans review course, but took my second nclex b4 doing all the question bank questions and failed. So im now going to review. Good luck when you take your test, from what i have noticed between the two test, i no the basics, im just not answering the questions right when it comes to the critically thinking part, like what client should you see first, you have to think what is the potential complication for each client, which client is more stable. so im not going to spend time reading material unless i just dont no the material, only thing im studying is medications, and doing a lot of review questions
  3. My first attempt i just took the test and didnt review, it cut off at 181. I had three areas of below passing and the rest was near passing. Just took second test tuesday got 265 and didnt pass. I only reviewed a little. So now, im going to study more. But the way i understood how pass or fail goes, is the computer will stop when it is 95% certain that your ability is above or below the passing standard. If you get 265 the 95% is waived and it is according to your ability, so either your ability is above or below passing. If time runs out and you dont get to finish your pass or fail is determined by if you have been consisently above the passing standard you will pass, but im not sure for how many questions you have to be consistent, i think its like the last 50-60 questions. People fail if they only meet the passing standard or is below it, so you have to pass above it. There is hope for you. hang in there:wink2:
  4. I understand how you feel, i took my first test in july and FAILED, just got my results for second test and same result FAILED. I am so un-estatic, lost for words:banghead:
  5. I took my test this tuesday for the second time. I got about 20 sata 5 math questions, 1 put the items in order, and a lot of which patient will you see first. My last 10 questions were so basic nursing, at the point, i new i failed. Results were in today and i feel like jumping off a bridge:cry: failed for the second time.
