  1. Yes. Since it wasn't your patient, the very best thing would've been to call Security. Let them deal with any patient trying to cause harm. Throwing water on them could've escalated the situation to a dangerous level. I'm a NM.
  2. Move on. It happens. Sounds like this patient has a lot of issues.
  3. Will have to see things play out at this point. In the future, don't bring personal matters to managers if they don't affect your job performance. Let the issue play out in the court system first, then contact an attorney to determine the next move.
