I have been a school nurse for 4 years in Vermont and I have my MSN. I work 188 days and my salary is around $62,000. I am on the teachers contract and on the teachers union. Every 15 graduate credits you take in Vermont you get a pay boost!
  2. I graduated with my MSN in Nursing Education in 2023. I work as a school nurse currently and got a big pay boost with my new degree which was nice. It has been hard applying to jobs at college without my PhD though. I was also shocked by the low pay clinical nurse professors receive, I would make about the same as I do now as a school nurse but have more responsibilities around clinical times and curriculum.
