Hi! Do u mind sharing what your GPA looked like? I know online it says 3.0 minimum but I heard they wean u out if u don't have a 3.5 or above. Also were u internal or external applicant? Thank u!

I just looked at my portal and it said my application was closed today, didn't even receive an email.

its sooo crazy! I didn't even know they were doing interviews yet since they said it won't be until middle of march. I wonder if they were internals

ooh OK, do you know anything about fort worth? I applied to almost every unit but I havent heard anything about interviews yet for ANY floor

do you know for what units? I just got an email saying the ICU position was filled already

yeah they were either techs in those units or had some kind of connection like capstone

a manager from UTSW told me that they rank applicants based on a point system which includes GPA so if u don't have a 3.5 or higher you basically get weeded out and don't get offered an interview.

nope, nothing yet. I applied to arlington ICU and received an email saying that I was no longer being considered for that position. but I havent heard anything from Fort worth which is were I applied to the most positions. I just got a preference form but thats it

just Charlton for me. I applied to dallas too but havent heard anything back No, I think they do rounds. at least thats what the manager told me yesterday. she said that they sent her 98 applications and she screened 30 for interviews. she said that she has 6 positions available so if she doesnt get her 6 this round she will screen the rest of the applications sent to her to schedule more interviews.

yeah my ICU one is march 6th but the medsurg one was yesterday. she said that shes interviewing people this week and till the end of next week. so had 2 weeks worth of interviews so I think thats why she started early. I saw ICU is only doing 2 days of interviews so that may be the reason

I just got an invite for charlton ICU, and I interviewed for a medsurg floor yesterday also at Charlton

Congrats!! Hopefully I hear something from critical care soon! Did u receive a phone call? Or email? I believe JPS calls u to give u an offer but I could be wrong

did u go to the residency mixer? yeah thats what im thinking too but its a big IF, methodist told us today that some units do rounds of interviews so if u don't get an interview the first round u can get one the second round. so im hoping thats the same with parkland but it doesnt sound like it LOL. just here being hopeful

all of my applications still say "under review", they were all sent to the managers but I never got interview invites. I know interviews have been or are currently being conducted. I wish they just send me a rejection email so I can move on LOL

I applied as soon as they opened after midnight and neither dallas or frisco was ever opened

I do know for a fact that JPS gave preference to the people that went to their open house for interviews. Parkland I heard they gave that same preference to the ones that went to their mixer but it's not confirmed LOL. I also applied to parkland the same hour, got my application sent to all units that I applied too and didn't hear back from anyone which sucks.

Yeah, I guess we will just have to wait and see!
